Water Trap

It is suitable for monitoring and mass control against tomato leafminer pests in greenhouses and open areas.

It consists of a red trap and a pheromone basket.

The pheromone is placed in the pheromone basket and placed in the trap. Water is added to the half of the trap, a few drops of liquid oil or dishwashing liquid are added to make the water surface like an oil film.

2-4 traps/ha are set up with tomato leafminer pheromone, 20-40 traps/ha depending on the insect population for mass catch.
